What are some of the things you look forward to most in your job?
One of the things that I look forward to most in my job is that we work on a mission critical system. And because of that, it makes me proud that I work for a system that helps the nation to be informed and safe.
Who are some of the industry role models you look up to?
As a woman, the role models that I look up to are the women and women of color that broke the barriers for people like me. These exceptional women are Margaret Hamilton, Dana Ulery, Katherine Johnson, Ellen Ochoa and many more. Without them, I wouldn't be here.
How would you describe the culture at Relative Dynamics?
The culture of Relative Dynamics is one that supports a challenging environment, and pushes the team members and myself to not look at obstacles as walls but as ways to use our problem solving skills in order to overcome them. They support a collaborative environment where each team member can discuss ideas and work as part of a team. Relative Dynamics also supports an inclusive environment that prioritizes individualities, making every team member feel like they have a place in the company.
What is an example of a hard problem or project you've had to solve?
An example is an analysis that I performed on the error between the software program's orbit determination values with the satellite's GSPR data. We couldn't pinpoint what was the culprit of the problem. The best conclusion I made is that the CP values used in the software program were obtained to make the curve fit better and not calculated with physical parameters in mind.

There are several opportunities for growth and mentorship at Relative Dynamics. There are educational benefits that help the team like tuition assistance. And professional development that encourages the team member's workplace development in different programs where senior team members or outside mentors can help facilitate learning. In addition, personal development that helps the member to spend their personal time on personal projects.
